"On Saturday, September 26th, I was flown to Strong Hospital from Genesee County after I was involved in a bicycling accident.  At the hospital, it was found that I had severely broken two vertebrae in my neck and had a 9-hour surgery the following day.  Because of the great care I received from Mercy Flight, I am expected to make a full recovery.  I appreciate everything Mercy Flight did for me that day and I thank you for saving my life." "I was hit by an auto in Lockport on 08/22/09 while riding a bicycle. I was transferred to ECMC by Mercy Flight.  I would just like to say thank you very much for your staff's professionalism and kindness. I feel they saved my life!  I don't know their names, but I wish I could thank them in person somehow.  They would probably say they were just doing their jobs, but to me they are all real heroes.  I wish there were more people in the world like them!   D.F.
